we brake for cupcakes

Woo hoo, Hartford finally hits it big-time with our own Cupcake Truck! No more wishin’ and hopin’ we had it made like the lucky folks in NYC and New Haven who have cupcake trucks practically at their beck and call.  The Cupcake Brake (ha! get it!?) hit the streets of our fair city last week and is coming soon to a corner near you (and me). Find out where to get your chocolate-chocolate fix or satisfy your carrot cake craving by checking out their website or following them on Facebook or Twitter. They will have daily specials like Plain Twain, Charter Oak Chocolate and Hale Hostess (I regret that I have but one marshmallow to give for my country!). If they are not where they say they are supposed to be, it is because we hijacked the truck!

NYT says “don’t miss” the poly

Spoon and Fork

We’ve waxed poetic here before on the merits of dining at ON20, formerly known as The Polytechnic Club, but who are we? Why listen to us? Listen instead to The Paper Of Record, as they tempt your tastebuds with this delicious review.
